Australia's leading family entertainment show, "MONSTER SLAM" is about to take control of the Wayville Showground for the second year running. Monster Truck fans are promised an even crazier night than the inaugural 2016 event which blew the roof off a packed house with a mind-blowing night of Monster Truck action with carnage never seen in the City of Churches.
2017 promises to be bigger and better with eight of the best Monster Trucks on the planet, ready to go head-tohead in a true Australia versus USA battle. The bells will ring when the American team of Kreg Christensen, Paul Jensen and Kim Crosby return to Adelaide to take on the very best of Australian drivers.
No stranger to the Adelaide grounds, Christensen returns to one of his favorite performance arenas off the back of a massive 12 months of travelling the world doing what he does best - causing mass destruction wherever he goes.
The Utah native has performed at more than 40 monster truck shows and will be bringing with him Paul Jensen for his ONLY Australian performance. When back in the US, Paul drives the Monster Truck ‘KAMIKAZE’ aptly named after his driving style. Regardless of what he drives he aims to have no panels left when he finishes his freestyle in Adelaide on Saturday night.
Also making the trip over from the USA, female superstar Kim Crosby will be on bill to prove why she is one of the most sought-after drivers in the world. At the 2016 Monster Slam, Kim gained thousands of fans with her 'no holes barred’ attack in the monster truck arena.
The nationally accredited touring show is always evolving and promises something different every time. Adding to the crazy antics this Saturday night will be the World Double Decker Car Championships - never before seen in Adelaide. Double Decker car racing is as funny as it is intense.
This will be an action-packed night of family entertainment with gates opening at 4.30 pm. Enjoy the free pit party where monster truck fans of all ages can get up close and personal with the trucks and their drivers from 5.30pm, setting the scene for a mind-blowing show kicking of at 7pm and finishing with a massive fireworks display.
